For my move from Frankfurt (Germany) to Melbourne (Australia) I was searching for an international logistics company and contacted different companies. One among them was MTL Moving Transport Logistics and Mr. Damien Herms was my contact. He was very friendly and could answer all my questions and provided a quote (including a transport of my motorcycle) which was very detailed in comparison to all other companies. I have heard some horror stories about international moves and the extras charges which add up at the destination which were not provided in the initial quote. But MTL were very accurate and transparent in the costs not included in the quote.

After careful consideration I trusted Mr Herms and MTL to deliver as promised and they did not disappoint. I was also surprised when I got a small refund because my container load was less than planned. Never heard of this in my life!

The team from MTL did a great job packing all our stuffs into numbered boxes and all the items came undamaged to us. There was a small hiccup in that out container did not arrive on the day, but MTL has their own storage yard and took our belongings and packed the container and sent it on their way. Due to situation in middle east, our container was delayed as the container ship had to take a longer route to the destination, but that is outside anyone's control. But I was updated personally and could also follow the container status with the tracking website provided.

Home delivery at the destination was done by a third party, but they were also competent and got the job done.

Based on my experience I would recommend MTL & Mr Herms highly to anyone interested in such a move.

Excellent moving company! Exceptional customer service and coordination of all details. MTL moved me from my apartment in Wiesbaden, Germany back to the U.S. I have many antiques and fragile items, MTL was very conscentious about handling and wrapping my furniture and individual pieces. They answered all my questions promptly and provided in-depth information regarding what I needed to do, what couldn't be shipped, U.S. customs requirements. They also shipped my car, which was carefully handled and packed into the container. The car arrived with no damages or non-functionality. The movers were very professional, courteous and friendly. They coordinated with me for issues & questions about my furniture and antique items. They worked long hours and brought in more workers to complete my move within the allotted 5-day period. The movement coordinator and the movers were extremely accomodating of all my needs and last-minute requirements. They also provided additional support by moving with their conveyor belt some furniture & heavy items for trash pick-up.
