Hive recruitments invited me for a test working day and assured me that "they are ready to offer me contract", "this test day is not so much about working but just an orientation and get to know each other better" but here is what happened and how they deceived me under a fake hiring call:
During the test working day, I was not given a negative response at any point of the 8 hours I worked at the Hive. Secondly, all the supervisors rather appreciated my performance in picking. Finally, at the end of the day one of the supervisors gave positive feedback on my work and not a single negative statement. If my performance was not up to the mark, it took the supervisors 8 hours to realise that? Why did they not tell me after a couple of hours of work that I am not the right fit for this job? Also, there are number of roles of a fulfilment staff, but I was only tested on picking the entire day. They did not hire me and when I enquired on what basis my performance is evaluated, they could never explain because since the beginning they had no intention to hire me. According to the German labour law, a trail worker 'do not perform any specific work-related tasks during trial work and do not normally have to adhere to the working hours applicable to employees in the company' . I worked a full day at Hive for free under the wrong impression that I am going to be hired. After some initial correspondence, they simply stopped communication and never compensated for the damages.
